Sponge Painting!

Ok, proud momma here!! Shea had Vacation Bible School about 3 weeks ago and one of their crafts was to sponge paint. The organizers asked me if he had ever painted before because he was doing so good and didn't want any help [sound familiar?]. We haven't painted before [don't they know how messy that is??? :) ] . One lady sent me pics last night...isn't he cute!? Can't you just see how hard he is concentrating? Looks like I need to invest in some painting supplies.....

So, do you need a partner in crime to make you feel ok about consuming tons of calories and fat?? CALL TINA!!!!!! Our lunch today consisted of Fried Pickles, Mozzarella Sticks and Wing Chips [extra crispy]. That's it. I'm not sure who the instigator was. We both wanted junk and D's wings provided. I did, however, come home and eat a banana. If only we could do that everyday....

The Cousinhood of the Travelling Shorts!

My cousin, Alecia, gave us a pair of shorts that all 3 of her children have worn. Shea LOVES them!!! I imagine it has to do with the fact that there are BALLS! and BATS! all over them. So, the shorts live on!

Plaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Date!

Shea's little friend Evan came over last week while his mom ran an errand. The boys had a ton of fun!

Turns out that Noggin and I have this "baby-sitting" thing all figured out.....

The boys had a really good time. Shea introduced Evan to playing chase, at first Evan looked at Shea as if he had 3 heads but he quickly caught on! Then Evan had to go home and I was left with a sad boy missing his friend....

Pool Side

Shea is not a big fan of the pool. I am working to change that but at this point he's much happier sitting pool side with snacks. Sounds familiar.....
